Group To Guide Party’s
Growth And Development
CHARLESTON, APRIL 7 – The South Carolina Forward Party, the fastest-growing political party in the state, said today it has formed a statewide advisory board to help guide its growth and development.
The first members are experienced influentials in South Carolina drawn from politics, business, and academia. They will provide strategic guidance and help the Party connect to broader networks of civic leaders, donors, and reform-minded South Carolinians.
Members include Robin Tallon, Florence, former Congressman and member of the SC House; Najmah Thomas of St. Helena, a professor at USC Beaufort; Richard Darian of Charleston, former senior executive at Black Rock Asset Management; Tom Krummins, Greenville entrepreneur and social activist; and Dale Williams, a Charleston business consultant and former Fortune 1000 executive.
In announcing the initiative, Party chair Clint Eisenhauer said the group will fuel faster growth for the Party among independent voters and disaffected Democrats and Republicans in the state – the central constituencies for the Party.
“The Forward Party in SC has experienced rapid growth since its formation just three years ago. We have gained ballot access, we are getting candidates elected, and have attracted a core of about 5,000 supporters,” said Eisenhauer.
“We’re very happy with our growth so far, but the next phase will require more and different experience and skills if we are to become a durable and successful participant in state electoral politics. The skills and experience of this group, and others who will be added, will be critical to sustaining and building on our growth trajectory.
“Politics here, as in most states, is a ‘big boy’ game, and we intend to develop and apply the resources necessary to be successful in this environment,” Eisenhauer said.
The Forward Party is a centrist, U.S.–based political organization that positions itself as an alternative to the Democratic and Republican Parties. It was launched in 2021, and is headquartered in Washington DC.
The Party has ballot access in five states and is pursuing access in 11 others. In South Carolina, it has elected officials in several municipalities, and in November 2025, its candidate, Jay Doyle, was elected Mayor of Georgetown, the first electoral win by a third party in SC since 1894.
The Forward Party casts itself as a “big‑tent” movement that rejects the traditional left–right divide and instead focuses on problem‑solving, data‑driven governance, and democratic reform. It is directing its appeals to the "exhausted majority"— the 70% of American voters who say the two-party system is broken and are looking for a more pragmatic, less polarized approach to governance.
